Post It! Daily Positive Affirmations

In the picture below is something I like to do on a daily basis. Well let me keep it real, sometimes I do forget. "This is my chest of post it positive".  I get a pack of post it notes and write one positive affirmation about that day and keep them locked in this little chest. Now I know we are in the 9th month of the year and I should have way more then what you see, but like I said sometimes I forget. You'll see that there are pink and blue post its. I started this late 2013 which are the blue post it notes. The pink post it notes are for the current year 2014. Here's how it works. Because the pink post it notes are the current year, I fold them so at the end of the year I can go back and read all the positive things that happen throughout the year. For the blue post it notes after I read them all on New Years Eve ( you don't have to read them on that day.) I put them together with a paper clip. Sometimes I'll go back and read some of the notes.
The purpose of affirmations is to help your subconscious mind accept that what you are saying is true. What you think and what you say sends out signals to the universe. Basically what you release is what you'll get in return. So why not try to think positive and say positive things about you're self on a daily basis.
Let me explain *Kevin Hart voice*... My man and I decided to go for a jog Saturday morning at 6 am. First off I am usually not the person who is willing to wake up that damn early on a Saturday and I don't jog that often but I said to myself "I'm going to do this." Now, he parked his car at a gas station that was pretty far away from the park we were going to run at. I have never went  jogging at that park so I didn't know what I was in for. He said we will jog to the park then back and I was fine with that. We ended up jogging about three blocks until we got to the park and I was so ready to head back to the car. I did take breaks as I was jogging, however I kept thinking in my head " you can do this."  Once we started jogging again through the park, I felt as if my lungs and heart were about to say "deuces." At the park I was just ready to walk the rest of the miles, I mean it seemed like the path was never ending. My calves were hurting, I had a hard time keeping my breath. But I did finish and it was because in my mind I was telling myself "keeping going ," "you'll finish this path," "you are doing great." I sure did finish that jog, and I felt really good about myself after.

When writing positive affirmations about your day, affirm using present tense, make them brief, have a strong faith in what you are writing, and at the end say aloud what you wrote.

Examples:
To appreciate your job - I have a satisfying job
To feel better - I am healthy and happy.
To have healthy relationships  - I radiate love and happiness.
To study better- I study and comprehend fast.

Remember what you release is what you'll get in return. Be great!!!
