Happy New Year!!! Get Organized: How to's and tips.

Hello good people,

I know it has been a while since I have posted. I have only good news to report and that is, I have finished fall 2014 semester with all A's in all four classes. So between October to now I was just completely focused on my school work and in late  December after Christmas I went on vacay with my love to NYC for New Years in Times Square. What a memory for me to cherish for life.

Anyways, enough about me. This is a new year and I know we all like to start the New Year off with new approaches to life that will make our lives simple like the color black. So I have thought about somethings that keep me in check and organized so that I am not staring my day off scrambling for life and scratching my head.

Tip 1.) GET A CALENDAR, GET A LIFE!- I can't express how much I love being able to see what I have planned for the week or entire month. It gives me LIFE! With the calendar you can list appointments, meetings, events, etc... One thing I find very helpful is listing my bills and pay day on my calendar. I feel like I can control my spending better that way.  In the pic below are my journal (pink) and my calendar which I keep in my bag to take with me everywhere. *_*
Tip 2.) PUT IT BACK!! Get in the habit of putting things back in place after you have used it. Say for example you have used a dish. Don't let it sit in the sink, wash that thang, dry it, and put it back in the cabinet. If you leave it, the next time around you might not feel like washing it and then you'll reach for a new dish and the next thing you know, you have a sink full of  dirty dishes. That can't be life.

Tip 3.) Don't throw it in the bag, MAKE A LIST!!! Before you even call your self about to setp one foot out the door. Take a seat and do yourself a fav. and make a grocery list and/or "to do" list. What better way to manage your budget and/or your day? Us regular folk can't always afford to "throw it in the bag." Stay focused and mission minded.

Tip 4.) Cell phone on FLEEK!!!! I have no idea what that means but anywasys, UTILIZE your phone. There are apps you can download such as notepad to keep your "to do" list on you at all times or to use whenever you don't have a pen and pad available.

Tip 5.) Procrastination is a bitch!!!!! Find ways to take care of things right away. Not me, not now. What smart people say to social media when they have priorities. Take care of business before you get drowned in social media because we all know how entertaining it can be.

That's all I have for now. If I come up with more ways to make life sail like a jellyfish, I'll definitely post.

 Jah Bless,
Islah Munirah
